SolKRON: Taking the Trust Stack to Orbit

A proposed orbital-energy operations and trust layer connecting future SOVRA simulation capabilities, EnergieMIND settlement options and aerospace infrastructure partnerships.

What SolKRON is—and is not

SolKRON is an early-stage research thesis, not an operational product. TVK Orbital does not currently claim solar-power satellites, flight-qualified energy hardware, dedicated programme funding, customers or commercial orbital-energy delivery.

SOVRA

Simulation and decision-support concepts for orbital availability, demand forecasting, anomaly analysis, maintenance planning and operational scheduling.

EnergieMIND

An optional accounting and settlement rail for energy deliveries only after physical measurements have been authenticated, reconciled and approved.

TVK Orbital

The aerospace integration context: mission architecture, safety constraints, partner interfaces, regulatory analysis and future hosted-payload pathways.

Trust layer

A vendor-neutral chain of evidence connecting secure asset identity, signed telemetry, receiver-side measurement, reconciliation and commercial settlement.

The verification chain

  • Orbital asset identity and secure hardware credentials
  • Calibrated generation and transmission measurements
  • Authenticated, time-stamped telemetry
  • Independent receiving-station measurement
  • Discrepancy detection and reconciliation
  • Signed energy-delivery certificate
  • Policy-controlled settlement through compatible rails

A staged path to evidence

  • Stage 0 — technical feasibility, safety boundaries and partner requirements
  • Stage 1 — orbital-energy digital twin and economic simulation
  • Stage 2 — terrestrial telemetry-to-verification prototype
  • Stage 3 — hardware-in-the-loop demonstration under controlled conditions
  • Stage 4 — hosted payload or CubeSat telemetry experiment
  • Stage 5 — integration with qualified aerospace and energy partners

Safety boundary

SOVRA may support modelling and recommendations, but safety-critical functions such as beam steering, exclusion-zone enforcement and emergency shutdown must remain under deterministic, independently verified controls with hardware interlocks and authorised human oversight.

Research positioning

SolKRON does not assume that commercial space-based solar power is already economical. Its near-term purpose is to test whether an operations, verification and settlement layer can create value before large-scale orbital-energy infrastructure exists.
